Family Guy No Longer On Netflix

What Netflix still has Family Guy?

As of September 2021, all 23 regions of Netflix carry seasons 12 through 18 which represents 140 episodes in total.

Humorous animated sitcom, Family Guy, is no longer available on Netflix.

It is sure to be a big disappointment to its many fans around the world, as the show’s streaming rights have now been shifted to Hulu exclusively.

Originally airing in 1999, Family Guy was an instant hit, and was put back into production in 2001 after being cancelled after the first season. It is now airing its 19th season, no doubt buoyed by the support of its large fan base across the world.

What Does This Mean For Fans?

The show’s move from Netflix to Hulu has caused some upheaval for its many fans. Here are some of the changes to be aware of:

  • Hulu is only available in the US. Unless you live in the US, you will no longer be able to watch Family Guy on any streaming service.
  • New Episodes will air exclusively on Hulu. This means if you are already in the middle of watching a season you had started on Netflix, you will need to shift to Hulu to continue where you had left off.
  • Past Seasons will still be available on DVD. The back-catalogue of episodes is still available on DVD, so if you are a big fan with some extra cash to spare, you can add all the past season to your collection.

What’s Next For Netflix?

Netflix is continuing to expand its ever-growing catalogue of streaming content, with new titles being added all the time.

We can expect some favorites to remain, such as The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Big Mouth, offering plenty of laughs for all viewers.

In short, it’s a sad day for Family Guy fans, but Netflix is still home to tons of entertainment for everyone.
